This design at a home in Hudson, Ohio earned Grimm an award for Best Residential Backyard of 2007 from Unilock. Grimm believes that a good project “fits the space” – looks like it was meant to be on this property all along. This grill area does just that, reflecting the Southern plantation style lakeside home. In addition to the grill project in the Hudson home, Grimm also designed a private hot tub terrace environment. Plants, stones and custom made gates for the seating wall give it a sheltered feel. For this residential backyard feature, Grimm is proud to have won a 2nd place award in 2009 from the Ohio Landscape and Nursery Association.
