Landscape Construction Foreman
Production Manager/President
Responsible for organization, equipment, paperwork, and materials necessary to complete a variety of landscape projects.
- Ordering and scheduling of all material needed for completion of the projects.
- Time management – work with your crew to complete projects in the estimated time.
- Handle multiple tasks, organize work load, and meet deadlines.
- Completion and turning in of daily paperwork.
- End of day planning including scheduling and planning the next day’s work.
- Read designs and install landscape and hardscape projects as specified.
- Understand the proper installation and construction of ponds and waterfalls.
- Layout, set grades, and install various hardscape projects such as paver patios, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, and natural stone work.
- Fully understand voltage drop, wiring, and installation of landscape lighting projects.
- Day to day customer relations and daily communication with clients.
- Work with new employees to ensure proper training.
- Understand and enforce the rules and policies of the company.
- Always have and create a positive work attitude for your crew.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work site.
- Participate in weekly meetings.
- Maintain a neat and clean personal appearance.
- Operate equipment, including dump trucks, trailers, mini excavator, skid steer, power tamp, laser level, cut off saws, and misc. power tools.
- Take on other responsibilities as necessary.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years experience managing a similar crew
- Must have a clean and valid Ohio driver’s license
- CDL license recommended within 1 year of employment
- OCNT or CLT recommended within 1 year of employment

You are required to be clean dressed and shaven, follow all policies, keep your temper under control, never use foul language, be courteous to our clients, vendors, and other employees and be the best example of the Brothers Grimm image as possible.

Working hands on with a landscape crew to properly learn how to install landscape projects including patios, outdoor kitchens, plantings, and other tasks.
- Assist foreman with morning planning, loading, and organization of the day.
- Maintain a positive work attitude.
- Learn the proper practices to install paver patios, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, plantings, retaining walls, ponds, waterfalls, landscape lighting, and other projects.
- Work as a team with the crew to complete the project within the estimated hours.
- Learn how to set up jobs, set grades, read designs, and understand the basic company standards.
- Physical labor installing hardscapes and softscape projects
- Operate various equipment including dump trucks, trailers, skid steer, mini excavator, and power equipment.
- Be willing to learn and grow with the company.
- Maintain a neat and clean personal appearance.
- Must have a clean and valid Ohio driver’s license
- Constant improvement through education and learning
- OCNT or CLT recommended within 2 years of employment

Maintenance Laborer
Maintenance
Maintenance Foreman
Responsible for assisting the Maintenance Foreman with organization, equipment, paperwork, and materials to properly maintain clients’ lawns.
- Performs scheduled lawn moving, trimming, weeding, fertilizing, tree and shrub pruning, and repair and reseeding of damaged lawn areas.
- Applies herbicides, fertilizers, and pesticides using safe techniques and maintains HAZMAT files.
- Plants and maintains trees, shrubs, and flowers.
- Waters lawn, trees, and plants.
- Rakes and disposes of leaves and other yard waste.
- Maintains driveway, playground area, and athletic fields.
- Keeps grounds free of litter.
- Maintains tools and equipment.
- May remove snow/ice from driveways, walkways, and parking lots.
- Use equipment and tools to complete job duties, including push mower, riding mower, gas-powered leaf blower, wheelbarrow, rake, shovel, trowel, spreader, chemical sprayer, portable sprinkler system, and hose.
- Must have a clean and valid Ohio driver’s license
- Constant improvement through education and learning
- OCNT or CLT recommended within 2 years of employment
- Ohio Pesticide License recommended within 1 year of employment
